Lizzy and Nate met at an invitational board game convention, so their fun side had to be pretty well-defined. So when they decided to have their wedding at Knoebel’s Amusement Park in Elysburg, Pennsylvania, the fun factor was a done deal. They’re actually from Washington, but wanted to share one of their favorite places with their friends and family in PA (and elsewhere since they had multiple celebrations!).
There was rainbow crinoline, rainbow hair, a rainbow ribbon veil, the groom’s green glasses, and of course tons of rides and games. Hello built-in venue entertainment! Their ceremony took place at the entrance of the huge wooden roller coaster, The Phoenix. They even had a “first plunge” on a coaster after the ceremony. They then took over the carousel and the bumper cars and finished the day with the rest of the thrills and chills. Let’s see how this Knoebel’s wedding played out…

This is awesome! When I was little my best friend and I would get to miss school on the third Thursday in May to spend a day at Knoebels! So many awesome memories! Looks like the couple had an amazing day 🙂
