If you’ve got access to some video equipment at your wedding ceremony, this idea from Liz and Adam’s movie-themed wedding might be your ticket to a killer ceremony. In lieu of readings, they used surprise movie scenes to illustrate their love for each other. Here’s how they got it done:

We bucked a lot of traditions; if it didn’t feel true to us as a couple, we didn’t force it into our wedding. Instead of readings, Adam and I each picked a movie clip that reflected a special quality about the other. We kept our choice a secret and revealed them to each other during the ceremony.

This is incredibly awesome and I kind of wish my husband and I had thought to do this. Then again, with a horror movie themed wedding I’m not quite sure what our choices would’ve been or how our guests would have reacted to them, lol.
