Mushroom magic at this colorful wedding in South Jersey

This colorful wedding has us feeling mighty fine – and no, it’s not the mushrooms (although mushrooms did make an appearance)! It’s all the personal touches that Miranda and David included in their special day (captured by our friends at BeauMonde Originals) that have us feeling all warm inside – and totally inspired! The day started out with an intimate ceremony, attended by just a few friends and immediate family, at the park where they had their first date. Yeah, we’re swooning too! They met their guests afterward for a reception filled with lots of dancing, special details unique to them, and a very colorful cake. If you love dogs and/or mushrooms (and we know there’s a lot of you out there), this wedding is for you!

The outfits at this colorful wedding are giving “classic with a twist”

While there was lots of color sprinkled throughout this wedding (quite literally – check out the gorgeous photo of Miranda and David being showered with colorful flower petals as they exit their ceremony), we got a big splash of it in David’s forest green jacket. This color perfectly complements the nature vibes present throughout the wedding (more on that in a minute). And those green, laceless shoes, henny!!! We’re obsessed!

Miranda’s outfit might look more “traditional” at first glance, but trust us – there’s nothing ordinary about this dress. The intricate lace pattern, the sparkling tiara, that flowing train and veil… THE DRAMA! And did you catch the cosmic detail on the bottom of her veil? A little nod to the phases of the moon… some things may change, but our love for this look will last forever!

This colorful wedding had a furry friend at the center

Miranda and David are obviously the love of each other’s lives… but nothing compares to the love they share for their pup! So of course he had to be at the center of their special day – literally! Their dog’s face graced the guests’ tables as centerpieces and additional table decor. We love this idea for dog lovers who take way too many photos (if there is such a thing) of their pup but never do anything with them… this is a perfect way to put them to good use and show off that adorable face! Their four-legged friend was also part of the ceremony and of course made it into the family photo. He even dressed up for the occasion… this dog wins the award for best bow tie (sorry, David)!

This colorful wedding had mushroom boutonnieres

This one’s for all you mycophiles out there… Dave collected mushrooms to include in his and all his groomsmen’s boutonnieres. I guess you could say he’s a really fun guy… Sorry, we just couldn’t resist! But seriously, what a unique and personal touch to a fashion element that often gets overlooked. We love the overall natural aesthetic Miranda and David wove throughout the wedding. Mushrooms, the moon, moss – all subtle touches that come together to create a cohesive earthy aesthetic.
