This Labyrinth wedding of two ladies is already a cult classic with us
Emma and Rebecca’s Labyrinth wedding took place in Mesnes Park in Wigan, UK. From the music (Magic Dance!) to the costumes (just wait until you see the goblins and fireys and Bowie makeup) to the amazing worm cake (come inside and meet the missus!), this was an homage to the cult classic the likes of which we have never seen.
When there’s skiing out of the ceremony, you’re in for a magical Aussie ski wedding
Josh and Steph are avid snowboarders, and decided to get married in the ski fields of Falls Creek, Australia. There was even a little snowstorm to make sure we all knew this was in the thick of winter. The wedding was on the smaller side with 30 guests, so they were able to have the reception at a restaurant with speeches at their penthouse. But our favorite part? Their skiing recessional from the ceremony!
Ships ahoy at a Caribbean pirate wedding on Halloween
Erin and Stephen had a Caribbean pirate wedding on Limetree Beach that we can’t get enough of. What’s a pirate wedding without some multicolored mermaid hair anyway, right? Plus, it was on Halloween and we’re rolling around like happy dogs knee-deep in spooky-themed weddings right now. Their guest dressed as pirates and the officiant even used pirate-speak. Are you ready for this pirate Halloween wedding? Everyone say “YAAAARRR!”
A majestic Icelandic Westfjords elopement that will tickle your wanderlust
Seriously, this is an actual contender for most scenic wedding EVER. There are flippin’ wild horses, for globssake. This pair wanted to have a relaxing, agenda-free day together in a beautiful place they already loved, so they returned to Dynjandi, their favorite spot in Iceland since a trip there together in 2012, to have a civil Icelandic Westfjords elopement. They got ready together and the day was spent driving around the fjords, picnicking, encountering Icelandic ponies, and then having a communal dinner with strangers.
