Jess & Martyn’s inclusive budget-friendly wedding
This pair wanted LEGO details, a cow cake, an amazing green dress, and a VW van that may or may not make it to its destination, and nobody was getting in the way of those awesome plans. There may have been some hesitation from the peanut gallery, but once everyone saw the results, it was hard to argue that a good time was in store. OH, and the bride’s bow and veil headpiece might just have made it to the top of my favorites list.
Chantal & Stefan’s rocking South African wedding
Giving us two freshly-inked thumbs up, this couple’s bright blue wedding is all happy. Seriously, folks, the photo of the couple holding hands with the bride’s beautiful grandmothers is absolutely adorable. Inspired by other Offbeat Brides, the bouquet is a work of art, the favours are a sweet treat, and the seating chart is a diplomatic success. Click on for more!
Andrea & Jim’s nautical literary adventure wedding
These two continued their love affair with sailing together by getting married on their sailboat, then taking their honeymoon on board around the world. Their small wedding all fit on board for the ceremony before walking down the pier to the reception, but you’ll swoon when you see where their unofficial first dance took place.
BRIGHT RED bridal hair and dinosaur details at this Melbourne wedding
Ben and Heidi are laid-back people and wanted their mid-day lunch wedding to reflect that. And with a black dress, super-charged red hair, dinosaur decor, and a giant pencil for the guest book, it was also really quirky and fun. I love that combination.
