Tea towel invites & ombre roses, at this bilingual fairy tale wedding
Venus and Sam rocked a colorful, bilingual wedding at the Lightner Museum in St. Augustine, FL with wedding invites printed on tea towels(!), ombre rose waterfall centerpiece(!!), and a cake exploding with flowers inside(!!!). There were also bath bomb favors (made by Venus’ sister), lookalike clay figurine cake toppers, and color everywhere.
This pair got married in the same room as the groom’s parents… 37 years later!
We got married in the same room in the same building (Moat Room, Harrow Registry Office) as my parents, with the same registered home address. The only difference: the two weddings were 37 years apart! The wedding reception was held on the largest boat on the River Thames, the Dixie Queen, that included the opening of Tower Bridge. We also had a nine-tier cake!

I wanted to get married in mountains with my closest friends and family there to celebrate with us. I wanted a dress with lots of colour and floral print, and after much searching I found the most amazing gown — huge green leaves, purple hydrangeas, and radishes (yes you read that right — radishes!). I based my colour palette on the dress, having flowers match the floral print, white decor, and of course, adding radishes to my cake and flowers.
