A goth meets nerd meets glam wedding with on-site ring tattoos

We had an overall gothic Halloween wedding, with comic and hockey-themed aspects. Our short ceremony had music by the Smiths, The Cure, and Type O Negative, as well as an officiant dressed as a friar. The ceremony highlighted with nerdy themes including, but not limited to, X-Men, Star Wars, Stardust, Princess Bride, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and Lord of the Rings.

A galaxy themed tiny zoo wedding with tons of DIY

Our wedding was a mix of us wanting to keep it below a very certain budget and wanting to make it the most fun we could. The theme was sci-fi and we had fun with it. For starters, all of our centerpieces were hand-made by us, each being a scene from a TV show or movie we loved. These included Doctor Who, 2001 A Space Odyssey, Fifth Element, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. We also hid some dragons and unicorns in there as a reference to our favorite fantasy animals.

Blue hair and baseball caps? All perfect for this Victorian with a twist wedding

Our wedding was our own style for sure. I have always loved vintage and Victorian styles. But to give it a twist, I have blue hair! Mark also goes nowhere without his baseball cap. So I said wear it! He did and I felt it was perfect for us. Being on a very tight budget, we had lots of DIY from seating charts, favors, and table numbers. It was Victorian with a twist!

This aquarium wedding was perfect for a mermaid-haired bride named after a mermaid

My mother named me Madison after the mermaid in the movie Splash, so it only seemed fitting that the wedding take place in an aquarium. We took our first look photos in the "wetlands" area of the Florida Aquarium, and the ceremony was in front of the Coral Reef Gallery.

My favorite part of the venue were the sharks that appeared in our photos. The soft blue lighting throughout the aquarium was beautiful, and the venue was really fun.
