Kim & Dan’s beach wedding with a superhero twist
Yarn ball centerpieces, lots of pops of color, superhero Pez dispensers, and wedding-themed comic covers — this is going to be a superhero win! Add in the awesome trolley transport, gorgeous beach setting, and retro style, and you’ll be done for. Oh, and you’ll never guess what happened with the reception photos! A talented guest was the last-minute save.
Erin & Ryan’s Northern Ireland roadtrip and homespun Appalachian handfasting
This pair likes to take the old proverb “you can’t have your cake and eat it, too” as both a personal challenge and an individual goal. Therefore, when they were planning their wedding and couldn’t decide between two drastically different affairs (a free-spirited private destination wedding adventure versus an intricately detailed small community backyard handfasting), they decided to have them both! Prepare for gorgeous scenery and naughty favors ahead!
Laura & Dave’s succulents, accordions, and Paper Moon wedding
This couple knows the rules for sticking to your budget and make every choice count. With an adorable photo booth, an accordion serenade, and tons of DIY succulent centerpieces, you’ll definitely find something to love. Oh, and you’ll definitely want to see the groom’s face at the first look — it’s epic.
Emily & Kyle’s autumnal handcrafted wedding
I love when crafty folks work their magic on the wedding — handmade jewelry and rings, lino-block printed invitations, handmade bridesmaid dresses… we boggle at the talent! And in this case, it allowed them to have more guests with a smaller budget. Plus, you don’t want to miss how flippin’ gorgeous these two are with their ink and vintage-styled fashion! I suspect many staff cat-fights over who gets to be in the sandwich with these two.
