This couple was able to pull off some amazing handcrafted decor, a full self-catered buffet, a FABULOUS handmade dress (by the bride!), and even some home-grown entertainment all on a budget and with tons of style. This intimate wedding was also planned from across the country, so we know it took some serious coordination.

This pair has a strong connection to the desert, so a barefoot desert ceremony was a must. Add in lots of handmade, vegetarian, and eco-friendly touches, and you’ve got a truly gorgeous and personal wedding (that somehow totally avoided the scorching Arizona summer heat). Shelley & Erik’s crafty DIY and bluegrass wedding
These two are artsy and it shows. This pair crafted themselves into a tizzy, but the result were some gorgeous details. Even the portable toilets were pretty! But add in a bouquet toss/wire snafu, a groomsgirl who matches the groomsmen, and the bride’s awesome green dress, and there’s way more to see than just the decor.
Julie & Paul’s farm fresh and sassy wedding
After two years of life and natural disasters delaying the wedding, these hunter/gatherers finally tied the knot at their own gorgeous home in Nova Scotia. With their own foliage (and some lingerie!) as decor, a doggie ring bearer, a fake roadkill-style menu, an actual seafood dinner, and the kissy-face couple themselves, I don’t even know what you’ll love most. Let’s just go with everything!
