Brooke & Jon’s elegantly 8-bit Mario wedding
These two super gamers embraced Super Mario for a pretty damned super, 8-bit-inspired wedding! We’re talking a Mario photo booth complete with props, fire flower bouquets, homemade cupcakes, and even the bride’s kick-ass 1-Up nails! Plus, you’ll love their card box. Let’s just say it involves a piranha plant and some special effect noises.
Lisa Marie & Oscar’s retro polka-dotted and tattooed Manhattan wedding
We love us some rockabilly, and we also love it when there’s a chic tulle headpiece, flash tattoo decor, a squee-worthy first dance, and our own [vendor-heart link="http://vendors.offbeatwed.net/listing/the-reverend-d"]Rev. D[/vendor-heart] presiding! And you’ll love the traditional Polish-Slovak bridal dance that made the groom prove he will move mountains (of people!) to get to his bride.
Shondelyn & Tyler’s SCUBA-loving aquarium wedding
It all starts with gawking at the luscious purple wedding gown (from [vendor-heart link="http://vendors.offbeatwed.net/listing/wedding-dress-fantasy"]Wedding Dress Fantasy[/vendor-heart]!). And then we’re ogling the scenery at the awesome aquarium. After that we’re spying octopodes and tentacles all over the place. And once we see the anniversary dance winners, it’s all over. Hearts melted.
Love triumphs over stormy weather and a reception blackout
Leah and Heather were married on June 7th at Triumph Brewing Company in New Hope, PA, where the pair had one of their first dates and countless date nights after. Leah designed the place cards, table numbers, her bouquet, Heather’s boutonniere, and the CD favors. But the best silver lining moment came when the intense storm going on caused a blackout at the reception!
