It was really important for us to have a Catholic ceremony and to include New Orleans traditions such as the second line parade, cake pulls, and voodoo doll groom’s cake. We also wanted to include small details of our personalities such as the welcome bags, King cake, custom dolls, family photos, and ’80s alternative music.

Purple hair and pups: a gorgeous beachside nautical wedding

Avari and Ed had a beautiful beachside nautical wedding in Corolla, North Carolina with their pups, Avari’s purple hair, sunflowers, cowboy boots, and a gorgeous sunset reception. The beaches were only reachable by ATR vehicles and are inhabited by real wild horses. Don’t miss the dune buggy ride and the awesome “do not disturb” signs on the hotel doors!
