Today we’ve got a burner-meets-upcycled-meets-kid-friendly celebration including fire dancing, a community-planned potluck, and a sweet ceremony interruption by the couple’s little girl. It’s laid-back and free-form and we’re loving it!
Jennie & Daniel’s tropical adventure-themed zoo wedding
Animals, adventure, and retro travel… now that’s a wild wedding setup. With lots of DIY from the crafty bride and some dance floor shenanigans, this zoo wedding was bound to bring out everyone’s animal side. Get ready for animal prints, peacock feathers, animal crackers, and tropical-themed centerpieces.

Kim and Heather are lovers of Wonder Woman and Xena (as already evidenced by amazing ink!), but their Xena/Wonder Woman cake made by Heather herself… well, takes the cake (sad trombone). But seriously: the Greenville Children’s Museum venue in Greenville, SC, the two dresses, the sword cake cutting, the comic postcard guest book… it’s all a product of super powers, I’m sure of it.

We teased this couple’s adorable crocheted dessert table toppers earlier this week and now we’ve got the whole story! We’re talking a self-catered fajita bar, suuuuper sweet serenades from the groom AND the bride’s father, and a last-minute rain break for an awesome outdoor ceremony.
