Krys & Chris’ Scottish picnic wedding in the Redwoods

Lots of DIY, thousands of origami stars, a feathery bouquet, a surprise lightsaber arch… and a bouquet tossed from a trebuchet! For reals, ya’ll. Except it went slightly differently than practiced. Plus, you’ll want to see how the groom and his best man made up for some lost time in this second marriage. OH, and for something completely rad, take a guess who wore the special Batman garter. It definitely wasn’t the bride!

Shiny happy wedding feels (and matching ties!) at this art gallery wedding

Stephen and Tavo’s May 4th (Star Wars Day!) wedding was a fabulous garden party among glowing fairy lights and leaf green decor at Artspace 111, a warehouse-turned-art-gallery in Fort Worth, Texas. With matching ties, personalized chalk for guest book messages, and foodie-style centerpieces (ARTICHOKE!), these two are made of hugs and win. Don’t miss the first dance dip!

This is the story of how it all went down, with the added bonus of gorgeous photos and awesome details from Liz and Mark’s wedding in Port Angeles, WA.

Melaney & John’s small town Tex-Mex dinosaur rock wedding

Let’s see here: dinosaurs (and a dino adult piñata!), a small town outdoor setting with a big cocktail gathering before the ceremony, and 34 DOZEN tamales… where do I sign up for this wedding? Oh, and don’t forget the groom’s and the bride’s mother’s live band performances, the Monty Python call-out in the ceremony, and the unintentional ass-grab by the groom during the first dance!
