Here in the U.S. we’re celebrating Thanksgiving today. Lots of countries have a version of this holiday: Canada and Grenada’s in October, Liberia’s earlier this month, and the Netherlands shares our date. Now that we’re back to catering our own wedding (with major help from the wedding party), I whipped up a concrete version of the simple afternoon tea wedding menu that’s been running around in my head. I’m aiming to keep this very very simple to spare us stress and cost and time.

How do you walk down the aisle when your theme is “Till Death do Us Part” and you’re getting married in an Northern California cemetery? If you’re Kristen, you surprise the hell out of your groom by entering in a coffin carried by the groomsmen.
