It’s Hades & Persephone in this Greek myth-inspired underworld wedding inspiration
We are loving this Greek underworld-inspired wedding inspiration for the mythology lover in all of us. Real-life couple Tonya and Jessie were inspired by the god and goddess Hades and Persephone of the underworld with The Fates in attendance as flower girls.
Don’t miss the black and red dress with red crystal crown (Persephone was queen of the underworld, after all!), florals with deep roses, dark leaves, and hints of forbidden fruit, and the huge and amazing goth chic cake.
Funko fans: get ready to lose your cool when you see this Funko headquarters engagement shoot
Tannah and Nic collect Funko toys and wanted to do have their engagement shoot at the Funko headquarters in Everett, Washington. It’s super colorful, full of literally larger-than-life vinyl toy figures that are super popular, and just a really awesome backdrop for photos.
It was especially fun for them to let off some steam at a more casual setting for their engagement since their wedding will skew a bit more formal. Oh, and don’t miss the making of the cake toppers!
A sweet, simple, & gorgeous Sweden -> DUMBO, Brooklyn elopement
Emilia and Anders traveled to New York City all the way from Sweden to capture their simple, lovely, and distinctly NYC elopement. With the skyline behind them, the Brooklyn neighborhood of DUMBO fully on display, and a truly gorgeous golden hour, this DUMBO elopement took my breath away.
Don’t miss the bride’s beautiful, long-sleeved dress, her rad leather jacket, the groom’s fab blue suit, and all of the wonders that a New York City backdrop provides…
Just wait until you see the faces of the guests in this surprise wedding video in Glasgow
Kate and Greig gathered their family and friends at The Bothy, an intimate restaurant in the trendy West End of Glasgow, Scotland for what they thought was an engagement party. They were soon to discover that upstairs waiting for them were Kate and Greig decked out in full wedding attire with their local minister ready to make it official.
Surprise number two came from Greig’s brother who had returned from Australia for the occasion without telling anyone ahead of time!
