When outdoorsy isn’t you: at-home engagement photos with books, vinyl, and natural black hair
When you think of engagement shoots, you might automatically think of backdrops like local parks, forests, and murals. But what if you’re more of a Netflix-watching, cuddling on the couch type? That’s why I LOVED these casual, loving, and intimate at-home engagement photos of Jordan and David.

We knew we wanted it to be in the fall, outdoors, and on my grandparent's property, overlooking the lake that I have been going to since I was born, as well as my mother when she was a kid. It's practically our second home and is the only place I ever imagined getting married.
In case of dementor attack, you’ll need this Harry Potter wedding favor
If you’re a Potterphile, you know that chocolate bars have their own powers of soothing you after a dementor attack. So at a wedding with Harry Potter details (where a dementor could prey, naturally!), why not offer up some DIY Harry Potter wedding favors that will do the job nicely. Plus, it only takes some inexpensive chocolate bars, some printer paper, and a printable chocolate bar wrapper.
A handmade Victorian picnic wedding in the mountains (with the most gorgeous rain & mist photos!)
We had a small wedding with only 20 guests, but because it was small, we were able to have all guests participate in the all-white/beige Victorian theme. Most everything was handmade and sourced by us including hand-drawn and printed wooden invitations, bridal party gifts, individually selected vintage tea plates and cutlery, crystal coupe glasses, embroidered napkins, and all decorations.
