These two cuties had a lovely journey to their Catskills Buddhist wedding at Dai Bosatsu Catskills. They had been attending a weekly sit at Dai Bosatsu Zendo’s NYC zendo, Shobo-ji, and eventually started visiting Dai Bosatsu Zendo, a Zen Buddhist monastery in the Catskills. Side note: when you see it in these photos, be warned it will take your breath away. Soon after the two got engaged, they learned that Dai Bosatsu Zendo hosted weddings. They then booked the gorgeous Arnold House in Livingston Manor for a prom-themed reception.

We will be strolling down a mile-long “aisle” in what could totally be humid 90+ degree F weather in our hiking boots. I’m sure there are other couples who might be planning to skateboard down the aisle or want photos of their partner jumping around in the bounce house at the reception. You guys: season six of Game of Thrones happens THIS SUNDAY. Are you as excited as we are? I’ve remained very spoiler-free, but I havent’ been able to resist thinking about our featured Game of Thrones weddings. I found more GoT wedding details that I had to share with you. I kind of want most of it just for my own use, but obviously it would all be killer at a Game of Thrones wedding. Just maybe keep the red and purple details to a minimum just in case?
