Sickeningly happy couples need this barf bag wedding program (a free wedding printable!)

We recently featured a gorgeous poly-friendly wedding featuring blanket seating, a falcon ring bearer, a fabulous floral gown, and these epic BARF BAG programs for… wait for it, a sickening happy couple. We were all obsessed with these barf bag programs. We hooked up with Tabitha of Haven Page Design (the designer of said original bags!) to see if we could snag our own version of a barf bag favor in free printable form. She obliged and she rocked it!

Owls, house banners, and eerily accurate Harry Potter details at Kayleigh & Dougie’s Scottish Harry Potter wedding

When you see the DIYed details of this Harry Potter wedding in Scotland, you’ll wonder if magic actually exists to make these details so amazingly accurate. We’re talking The Daily Prophet, a truly fabulous Honeyduke’s sweets table, house banners, wand place cards, a sorting hat, a phoenix cake, A Quibbler, an Azkaban photo booth, and real owls! The groom got a little surprise at the reception with a shout-out to his faves, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This one is a must-see, all you Potterphiles.

Download the PDF, print out some copies, and include it in your arsenal of kid-friendly activities at your reception.

Why I don’t like the word “vows” in the context of weddings

I don’t like the word “vows” in the context of weddings. A vow is like a promise and, whether we like it or not, promises are easy to break.
