Every day is Throwback Thursday when it comes to retro weddings with vintage-inspired details. From the 1920s all the way to the 1980s (where’s our ’90s wedding?!), we’re loving this retro wedding style. Offbeat Bride’s 15 most viral weddings of all time
I trawled the numbers to find the 15 most viral, most read, most shared offbeat weddings of all time to end 2015. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this exercise, it’s that Offbeat Bride readers definitely share my passion for Harry Potter (and I couldn’t be more psyched!). Here’s our countdown of the 15 most viral real weddings on Offbeat Bride. Which ones do YOU remember?
Rachel & Jake’s “Water for Elephants” state fair wedding
If you can resist the lure of this bride’s black shimmery mermaid dress, you are stronger than we are. A vision in black, teal, and red, she slays us with her style. Add that to the sexy groom, 1930s circus theme, and pseudo-elopement strategy, and you’ll be ready to marry these two yourself. Plus, if you’re dealing with photo insecurity, this bride knows how to shut it down and embrace your awesomeness!
Marta & Dan’s antique country western wedding
Growing up in auctions, flea markets, and antique-dealing fathers definitely left it’s mark on these repurposing and recycling kids. Like they say, “old trumps new every time!” So an old-fashioned, rural retro wedding was totally in order. Just watch out for the awesome unity ceremony… it’s a little dangerous, but definitely exciting.
