A swanky Brooklyn lesbian loft wedding with lots of tattoos!
Two white gowns + two hot ladies = too much for us to handle. The backdrop to this swank event was an old tobacco factory-turned-loft space, Deity Lounge in Brooklyn. The must-sees: lots of ink, personalized cake pops (get in my mouf), and some truly epic accessory bling. Plus, they had matching ring finger tattoos which were in addition to their rings, not instead.
Technicolor Muppet wedding: with a stitched felt bouquet and Kermit-green wedding dress!
Never have I seen so much colorful Muppet hilarity in one wedding. (And we’ve seen some Muppets!). A Muppet cake (with awesome sheet cake alternative), Muppet felt bouquets, doppelganger hand puppets, and an ANIMAL BAND(!!) make Cristina and Trevor’s wedding a total nostalgia-fest. There were even felt Muppet eyes and props for the photo booth. Feast your eyes and get smacked in the face with color!
Elizabeth & Joshua’s “spring in winter” orange grove wedding
Orange groves, bee details, and pastel hues: it’s the stuff of miracles when snow covers many of us. This wedding also boasts a fabulous handmade dress, potluck food (AND potluck performances!), a tree planting ceremony, and adorable wedding party fashion. So much sweetness, so little time.
Stephanie & Jonathan’s whimsical Calvin and Hobbes wedding
This couple transmogrified their wedding into an ultimate Calvin and Hobbes dance party. Everything from the stationery to the cake toppers had the handwriting look of a stuffed tiger and his favorite boy.
