With their wedding ceremony at the iconic Immaculata at USD and reception at The New Children’s Museum, Jazmine and Michael were able to pull off both traditional and whimsical. Chinese culture meets Toronto style at this Eastern & Western fusion wedding inspiration
Lee’s Restaurant is an amazing backdrop for fusing traditional Chinese cooking techniques with fun twists from Western and European flavors. Plus, it’s full of bold colors and textures that just look rad in general. So you’re going to go full heart eyes for this modern meets edgy wedding inspiration. Keep an eye out for the silver dollars in the table settings and the green jade jewelry in the bride’s hair.
A crystal ball in the woods at this creative & sustainable wedding with intention
The groom told us: “Neither of us are traditional so we decided our theme was going to be all about magic and fantasy combining my love of Dungeons & Dragons with her love of actual magic (runes, crystals, divination, astrology, etc.). It’s like an alchemy of interests.”
Get your all-access pass to this music & dance wedding (with the drummer of the band SOJA!)
Lauren and Ryan’s wedding was fun, energetic, and a true reflection of them. There was a ton of dancing (don’t miss the shots of their choreographed family dance!), sneakers in place of dress shoes, fun catering stations like a taco bar and Asian bar, and donuts for dessert. Ryan is the drummer of the Grammy nominated band, SOJA, so they had “all access passes” made as a nod to their love for music.
