A New York City hall wedding with chic roaring ’20s Chinatown reception
Rachel and Tim started their day with some portraits that celebrated the city they love, New York City, with a panoramic view on top of The James Hotel. Then it was off to New York City Hall for the ceremony in their chic and retro-inspired outfits. That alone is eye candy galore, but it gets even better!
For their reception the next day, it was all about Gatsby bliss for 75 guests at Jing Fong in Chinatown. Think flapper dresses, peacock headpieces, a knockout cake, and delicious dim sum.
A darkly eclectic jam session wedding with tux shirts & In-n-Out
Let’s set the scene: a bride in black, a groom in shorts, a frolic in a cemetery, their cat in a tux, groomsmen in tux t-shirts, festivities at an RV park, music fest-style family jam sessions, grandmas palm reading, skeleton flamingos, catering from In-n-Out(!), and an excess of love. Have I got your attention yet?
Don’t miss the skelly flamingos, mismatched bridesmaids, giant chess set, and epic bonfire late into the night…
A creative mountain wedding at Zorthian Ranch (with a handmade dress!)
Jon and Jenny are both creatives, and they wanted a hip but relaxed wedding with their closest family and friends. They chose the Zorthian Ranch, which is known for it’s offbeat artist community built by a local Altadena artist.
They had a ton of DIY elements to their creative mountain wedding. Jenny made both her dress AND Jon’s suit. She also made their wedding pie! Do not miss the hot pink and black floral dress, the chic and simple details, and the gorgeous pie display…
