Michelle & Matt’s royal Texas Ren Fest wedding
This pair thought about going with a more mainstream wedding, but the fantasy and renaissance geeks inside wouldn’t let them abandon their dream renaissance festival wedding. The Texas Ren Fest gave them the opportunity to get garbed, get turkey-legged, and get their renaissance boogie on.
How a bride and her mother hand-crafted a fantastical steampunk wedding ensemble
I hope you have a spare pair of underthings at the ready, because after this post about Dana’s infathomably gorgeous hand-crafted steampunk wedding dress, you’re going to need to go change yourself. I mean, OBVIOUSLY everyone at this wedding looked like they just stepped out of some neo-Victorian psychedlic wet-dream, saturated in rich colors and brass baubles and amazingness. Phantom meets Halloween in this DIY masquerade wedding in Florida
When your groom is an artist capable of sculpting amazing gothic statues, you have to include them in your wedding decor. He also made their centerpieces and the amazing trees that fill their reception space. Kari does, and she and Rick DIYed this opulent, elegant, period-inspired masquerade Halloween wedding that we can all gawk at. Do gawk away, lovers.
Kerri & Chris’ trick-or-treat Halloween military wedding
A Halloween theme, zombie-themed live band, and a saber arch in one wedding? Hell yes. This rockin’ party had these influences and more, including pumpkin carving, a candy buffet, and real live trick-or-treaters busting in. Even though the bride almost didn’t get her dress in time due to a volcano(!), they still managed to host a kick-ass party, giving us another great wedding for Halloween week.
