A casually elegant BBQ wedding in their own backyard
Shortly before Matt and I got engaged, we bought a house with a stunning park-like backyard, complete with an arch for the ceremony. We planned the wedding in just three months. April and Kyle’s wedding was the first ever ceremony and reception to take place at the Music Box Village. The Music Box Village space is an open-aired arrangement of unique pieces of musical architecture — shacks and structures designed to make a variety of sounds — accompanied by the performers’ instruments and women dancers from Dancing Grounds and is completely outdoors.

A little bit retro, a little bit punk: this woodsy Maine wedding has it all
Siobhan and Tom’s wedding had a retro feel with just some hints of punk and rock ‘n’ roll. They were in a pop punk band together in Seattle, so their wedding took some inspiration from their musical background. They also had pizza, donuts, Simpsons references, and seriously gorgeous Maine fall foliage.
Don’t miss the macrame backdrop, floral bridesmaids dresses, and mismatched plates…
