Max and Mel moved Maui to forge a new beginning for themselves and then met through a paddling club. Between karaoke after-parties and Maui adventures, loved blossomed. They decided to have a small elopement in Maui with the East Maui volcano, Haleakalā, as their backdrop. If you think this meant amazing photos, you’ll totally right. Natya and Kris had a small but kick-ass ceremony at the famous Voodoo Donuts in Portland, OR. There were, as always, about 20 people in line at the store and many more outside along the sidewalk. This meant that there were tons of onlookers, many of whom only just realized there was a tiny wedding happening.

Steph and Shelby had watched a really beautiful elopement video a few years prior to getting engaged and had it in their heads since it was so intimate. When they actually got engaged, however, so many people were excited and asking about it that they completely froze on what to do. One day after a year or so into their engagement, Steph finally suggested eloping to Disneyland in California for Dapper Day.
