When I first saw this wedding come in, my eyes were darting around the screen like a bat in a cave. The black and white gown, the seriously chic goth Halloween vibe, the skelly decor, the red and black flowers, the Morticia Addams-channeling bridesmaids, the black pumpkin guest “book” — it was intense. Oh, and of course, THAT HEADPIECE.

The theme was TIM BURTON. We didn't want a Halloween wedding. We didn't want a wedding specifically themed after any of his particular movies. We wanted our wedding to be a regular, beautiful, fancy wedding, but through the eyes of Tim Burton — TWISTED.

Bride Kayla loves the color black, glitter, bones, and science, so all of those things were incorporated into her and groom Josh’s wedding day. There were handmade bouquets, surprise readings at the ceremony from the wedding party, wedding pies, flowers in metal skulls, spine pens, and a record guest book.
