lesbian weddings

YAY, LESBIAN WEDDINGS! We celebrate all identities within the LGBT umbrella, including transgender weddings, gay weddings, and bisexuality, as well nonbinary and non-binary gender identity issues. If you want to talk fashion, darlings, be sure to check out our two brides, two dresses posts (for lesbian weddings where both partners wore gowns), and our bride in pants archive, which features lots of straight brides too, and SO MUCH non-dress wedding attire inspiration.

Sarah & Tasha’s tattooed and not-strictly-traditional wedding

These ladies successfully merged traditional and offbeat with their lovely white dresses, ice cream bar instead of a cake, mixed-gender (and fashion) wedding party, and eerily similar vows that they didn’t even plan out together! Oh, and wait until you see the adorable twist on the “choose a seat, not a side” sign!

Kristen & Jet’s zombie-infused Elvira-loving NYC Hallowedding

This one is going to be right on the money for you couples planning Halloween weddings right now. We’ve got two ladies celebrating their favorite holiday, a black ribbon veil, amazing black pumpkin bouquet, and of course, Central Park in New York City! Plus, they had The Reverend D (rad Offbeat Bride vendor) officiate dressed as ELVIRA! And there may have been a wedding crashing zombie in attendance as well.

Love has no age: why we love this lesbian wedding

This week’s back-to-nature theme would not be complete without Marie and Prue’s wedding under a 100-year-old turpentine tree at a fabulous estate called (what else) The Turpentine Tree in Kurrajong, NSW, Australia. And the photo of Prue’s granddaughter’s fist-pumping approval? Perma-smile engage.

Jodi & Kim’s glow sticks and bling wedding

This wedding has an official “flower disbursement” and “ring security agents.” Basically, they mean business. On top of that, a dog walked down the aisle, a fish was memorialized, and glow sticks featured prominently in the unity ceremony. I think we’re in for some fun. Oh, and you have to read about the jaw-dropping encounter with their first videographer. It was NUTS.
