Lane & Jeff’s eco-conscious upcycled wedding
You know a wedding has made good eco choices when you only end up with a small grocery bag of trash at the end. Add that to the fabulously upcycled dress, DIYed napkins, coffee filter flowers, homemade jam favors, massive potluck (with nine pies!), and an awesome depression-era band, and you’ll love this sweet outdoor, budget party.
Duchess Clothier: Incredible custom suits in Portland & San Francisco
It’s a good time to be an offbeat groom, my friends. In the past couple weeks we’ve introduced you to ties that don’t suck and boutonnieres with mega personality. And now, thanks to Duchess Clothier, groom outfits have gone from “which rental suit would you like?” to almost as many styles and variations as there are wedding dress options. (As it should be!)
Bex & Cort’s big queer Jewish wedding
Bex and Cort planned a fab outdoor ceremony complete with lots of traditional and alternative takes on Jewish traditions, and were both fashion plates on top of it. Lots of laughter (including dad’s “presentation” speech and mad emcee skills) and lots of personalization made this day all theirs.
Jenny & Damon’s quirky steampunk Buddhist wedding
There are a lot of things to love about this wedding like the bride’s silver and blue dress, the groom’s monocle and cane, and the surprising sake ceremony. But frankly, I’m in it for the doughnut cake and glow sticks. There is definitely something for everyone at this creative shindig.
