Date night guest book: Collect date night ideas from your friends and family
Angie and Laura had tons of wild and awesome things happen at their wedding: a grilled cheese food truck, fan favors, and lawn games. It was epic. With all of that fun stuff, it’s easy to miss one wicked good idea: their “date night” guest book!
Channel the Upside Down with this Stranger Things garland
If your wedding has an element of the creepy about it (Halloween wedding? Horror wedding? TV-inspired wedding?), perhaps this Stranger Things garland is the ceremony or reception backdrop you need. You can even snag a custom set of letters to spell out your name, wedding hashtag, or a message from the Upside Down.
Collect messages in a bottle as your guest book
Elizabeth and Steve’s old school Nintendo wedding featured Marios and Luigis and Thwomps and Fire Flowers galore. One tiny detail that we especially loved was their message in a bottle guest book. They offered theme-appropriate colored Post-Its, pens, and small bottles so that guests could write them a note for the future. I guess being married is a little like being on an island sometimes. You’ve got to get advice from off shore sometimes.
Serve your guests from a traveling bar cart
Whether you’re serving champagne, wine, local beers, a signature cocktail, or going for mocktails at a dry wedding, rolling around a traveling bar cart is a pretty rad way to serve the booze. Instead of setting up a bar, have someone go from table to table serving up custom drinks.
