Tamara and Sam’s theme is seriously one of our favorites: “rock ‘n’ Poe” — all things Edgar Allen Poe meets rock ‘n’ roll. They DIYed a lot of the goth details, and dinner was a breakfast bar. Between the fabulous black gown (which was actually billed as a “mother of the bride dress” — wut), the killer groom outfit and epic beard, and the black and white lace cake, we love this wedding with a love that’s more than a love. Okay, no more Poe quotes, I promise.

This pair met while playing in their respective bands. After a proposal on that same stage, they decided to write an entire original rock opera album to use as their ceremony. With back-up singers, their own band members, a giant group song, the most explosive kiss ever, and even Statler and Waldorf heckling from the balcony, how can this not be one of our favorite weddings ever? With a community of Seattle musicians at your disposal and Sodo Pop as your venue, music was definitely a theme of this wedding. Add in the sweet times with a blended family and you’ve got some seriously cute moments. But when the bride had to give “her parents” to a friend while she walked up the aisle, things got funny.
