This week we’re letting our hair down and getting back to nature in the wild, wild outdoors! Today’s couple wanted a fun weekend of roller skating, kayaking, and of course, a wedding by the shore. Anne & Stew’s happy hippie hoedown cross-country wedding
This pair had a sweet, tiny redwood forest elopement, but it didn’t end there. They then went on an cross-country party marathon with all of their family and friends in New Jersey, NYC, Texas, and California! Think Austin hokey-tonk bar, Jewish deli catering, a Deadhead-inspired barn dance, and a special guest: Mel the CAMEL. You have to see it to believe it.
A pared-down wedding weekend in South Africa
Edré and Riaan are both down-to-earth folks and planned a similarly down-to-earth, small and simple wedding. They decided, in lieu of having a honeymoon, to just extend the wedding to a weekend-long event and spend the extra time with family. This pared-down celebration is a great example of less is more.
