A geeky Pi Day wedding
What we have here is a case of awesome wedding with should-I-use-Offbeat-Bride-inspiration guilt. I am totally glad that Melissa decided to embrace what she loves and utilize all of the resources available. Including us! So on this Pi Day of 3/14, join us in reading about a Pi Day wedding full of geekiness, sweetness, and of course, PIES!
Antonia & Brian’s historians combine worlds wedding
These two met at The National Archives, so photos there were required. But after that, it was all about the amazing crocheted red dress, the choreographed dance, the meaningful ceremony rituals, and the awesome song written by the bride’s closest friend. Hungarian, British, and Irish influences reigned, but it was all about inclusion at this sweet wedding.
Candyce & Lane’s mad hatter garden tea party wedding
“We’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.” And this couple knows just how to throw a mad tea party on a budget, complete with key motif, Wonderland readings, and hats galore, natch. Plus they accented everything with peacock feathers… and real peacocks came around to steal them back!
Grace & Kevin’s lakeside beer and barbecue wedding
An outdoor barbecue with lots of beer and lots of dancing sounds pretty awesome. But add in a surprise officiant (the bride’s adorable grandfather!) and you’ve got some real sweetness going on. Plus, the hot Texas weather took a break just for the day. The stars aligned for this lovely spring theme week wedding.
