We had a super secret commitment ceremony before our legal wedding. We leaned into the “super secret” aspect, so our theme was “super secret spies”. Instead of invitations we sent dossier packages with code names for our guests and GPS coordinates for the location of our ceremony.

A heatwave hit Vermont during the week of July 4, 2018, but that was nothing for Michelle and Jimmy, two Texas natives who eloped in Vermont on July 5th at the Basin Harbor Club in Vergennes, VT. Michelle wore a lemon covered dress that was summer in a print. She had sent photos of the dress to Basin Harbor Club’s floral design team ahead of time so they could create a summery bouquet to match.
