Offbeat Wed’s vendor program has evolved significantly for 2026, in response to changes in the wedding industry, media platforms, and small‑business realities. If you’re looking for a quick price-and-features summary, that’s over here. This page gives you the full mental model of how an Offbeat Wed membership lives to support you and your small business.

About Offbeat Wed Vendor Memberships

What’s included in a 2026 Offbeat Wed vendor membership?

The Offbeat Wed vendor membership is a 12‑month, values‑aligned program for wedding professionals who want to work with more nontraditional couples, and need support navigating a rapidly changing wedding, media, and tech landscape.

Our vendor membership includes:
  • A listing in Offbeat Wed’s member directory, with powerful value to reach both search engines and AI chatbots
  • Member‑only resources
    • Resources for vendors like inclusive marketing, GEO education, brand guidance, and more
    • Resources for couples like our spreadsheets, checklists, and wedding officiant guidebook (you can share these with your clients!)
  • Direct access to our founder Ariel Meadow Stallings via a 1:1 consulting session
  • Opportunities for editorial and social visibility within the Offbeat Wed ecosystem
  • Ad-free browsing on offbeatwed.net
  • Group strategy calls

The Offbeat Wed Vendor Membership program is not a lead‑generation service, an ad buy, or a coaching program. It’s a membership that combines platform presence, resources, and thoughtful support.

Who is this membership best for?

This membership is for wedding professionals who:

  • Want to serve more nontraditional, inclusive, or values‑aligned couples
  • Want visibility on Offbeat Wed and 1:1 access to informed perspective
  • Are tired of “just post more on Instagram” biz advice
  • Want support that respects their agency and intelligence
  • Are looking to be actively invested in learning, strategizing, and building relationships
  • New wedding vendors who want to make sure they cover their bases
  • Longtime wedding vendors who can’t see the forest for the trees because they’ve been working alone for so long that they’ve lost the plot

It is not a good fit if you’re looking for paid clicks, set it and forget it, guaranteed leads, or pre-packaged marketing templates

How much does a vendor membership cost?

The current rate is $250/year with a $25 onboarding fee the first year.

Memberships will be changing in August of 2026, with three tiers:

  • Legacy Tier: $250/year (includes DIY listing, library of resources, ad-free browsing)
  • Consulting Tier: $700/year (includes Legacy functions + concierge listing creation & renewal update + 1 consulting calls with Ariel)
  • Mentoring Tier: $2000/year (includes Legacy functions + concierge listing creation & renewal update + 4 consulting calls with Ariel)

Effective August 2026, each tier will have a $200 onboarding fee the first year.

Do you guarantee leads, traffic, or sales?

No. Membership benefits are delivered by access and duration, not performance. We do not guarantee views, clicks, leads, bookings, or conversions.

About Offbeat Wed Directory Listings

Is Offbeat Wed membership mostly about the vendor listing?

It used to be back in the Obama era, but that’s not how the internet works any more.

Getting listed in the Offbeat Wed vendor guide is just one part of the membership, but it’s not the whole thing. Think of the listing as infrastructure. It gives you a durable presence on a long‑running, trusted platform that creates real value over time.

That value includes traditional SEO, plus what’s increasingly referred to as generative engine optimization (GEO). Your listing lives on offbeatwed.net as a stable, authoritative page that’s indexed by search engines and AI systems, increasing the likelihood that your business is surfaced in both conventional search results and AI‑generated recommendations.

That value also includes ongoing social proof, associating your business with Offbeat Wed’s longstanding industry‑leading editorial voice, values, and audience.

The rest of the membership benefits help you think more clearly about your business, your positioning, and how you want to show up in this industry.

Will my Offbeat Wed listing help my business show up in AI discussions or recommendations?

Probably… but in a structural, long‑term way rather than a guaranteed or immediate one.

Offbeat Wed is a long‑running, high‑authority editorial site that is indexed by traditional search engines and by the AI systems that increasingly power search results, recommendations, and conversational answers. Having a stable, well‑described listing (and, in some cases, editorial features) on a site like Offbeat Wed can:

  • Give AI systems more reliable context about what your business does and who you serve
  • Associate your brand with clear categories, values, and language
  • Increase the likelihood that your business is referenced or surfaced in AI‑generated responses about vendors like you

This is often referred to as generative engine optimization (GEO): showing up in AI driven answers because your business exists in credible, well‑indexed places across the web.

That said, of course Offbeat Wed doesn’t control how search engines or AI models rank, reference, or surface information, and so of course we can’t guarantee inclusion in AI results. (No one can, and if they tell you they can, they’re lying and you should be very skeptical about their services.)

Think of an Offbeat Wed listing as durable infrastructure and contextual relevance: exactly the kind of thing that the AI bots scraping our site all day LOVE.

What order are listings shown in?

On each vendor guide location or category page, listings are displayed in randomized rotating order so no one is permanently prioritized. The page order randomly refreshes every 15 minutes.

How do I get my vendor listing online?
  1. Join via offbeatwed.net/buylisting
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions, entering your email address, first name, and last name.
  3. Make your payment. Have a discount code? Before you complete your purchase, look for the text “Have a discount code?“, click “Click to enter it“, enter the discount code in the provided field, and click apply.
  4. Once you’ve created your vendor login, you’ll be prompted to set up your business name and location.
  5. Once your listing is set up, you can edit it to your heart’s content by logging in at offbeatwed.net/dashboard. We use WordPress, and you don’t need to know any code or fancy technical stuff to upload your pictures, enter your text, and add your links. You can find the login link on the top left of any page of offbeatwed.net (or in the site menu if you’re on your phone).
  6. While editing your listing you can fill out (as many or as few!) of the fields on the edit screen as you want. We will say that the more you fill out, the better your listing looks. And the Q&A sections are specifically designed to be AI engine friendly, so the more you answer, the more information SEO and AI bots can get about your business!)
  7. Your listing is live on our site for 365 days after you purchase your subscription.
Can I be listed in more than one location or category?

Yes, for a $50 additional cost. Just email us to make arrangements.

About Offbeat Wed 1:1 Consulting Calls

How can I use my 1:1 consulting session?

The 1:1 consulting session is designed to give you focused access to the perspective, pattern recognition, and advice of Offbeat Wed’s founder, Ariel Meadow Stallings. The goal is clarity, context, and momentum. You’ll leave the session with valuable insights about your business, and tangible next steps for how you can take action to apply those insights.

It’s a good fit for:

  • Talking through positioning, messaging, or brand clarity questions
  • Getting feedback on inclusivity, language, or tone (including live screenshare if helpful)
  • Thinking through AI tools, ethics, or strategy as they relate to your business
  • Founder‑level gut checks when you’re weighing options or feeling stuck
  • Management or small‑business questions that benefit from outside perspective
  • General Q&A; about navigating the wedding industry right now

You’ll choose the topic when you book, and we’ll use that as the agenda for the session.

Sessions are recorded for note-taking purposes. Offbeat Wed retains ownership of recordings (you’re welcome to quote insights from your session, but recordings aren’t shared or redistributed).

What’s the consulting session NOT for?

The 1:1 session does not include:

  • Legal, financial, or accounting advice
  • HR or employee management logistics
  • Therapy, trauma processing, or emotional caretaking
  • Conflict mediation between partners, collaborators, or teams
  • Crisis response, PR management, or reputation repair
  • Market research performed for you
  • Tech support, automation setup, or backend access
  • Guarantees of leads, bookings, revenue, or outcomes

It’s also worth noting that there is no upselling or sales component to these sessions. While Ariel does offer consulting services, these sessions are structured as a single, contained, actionable one-off.

How do I schedule my consulting session?

After you purchase or renew your membership, you’ll receive an email with a scheduling link and next steps.

  • Sessions are scheduled based on availability
  • You’ll answer a short intake questionnaire when booking
  • Please schedule within 30 days of purchase

If you miss your scheduled session without notice or arrive more than 15 minutes late, the session is considered forfeited. Emergencies happen, and we handle those case by case.

What happens after the consulting session?

After the session, you’ll receive a brief written summary, and you can ask one round of clarification questions. There’s is no ongoing access or follow‑up support included, but if you’d like deeper or ongoing work, you can ask about paid consulting options (again: there’s ZERO upselling during the session, we promise).

About Costs & Billing

How are memberships billed?

Payment is collected via Stripe at purchase, and then will be billed annually until you cancel your membership. We will send you a reminder email the week before your renewal bills, just to make sure you know it’s coming and are still on board.

How long does a membership last?

Vendor memberships run for 12 months from the date of purchase or renewal. Your membership is renewed automatically unless you cancel. We send a reminder email the week before your renewal to make sure you’re still in with us. Your listing remains live for the duration of your membership, even if you cancel your renewal.

How do I cancel my membership, and what happens to my listing if I do?

You can cancel future renewals at any time at https://offbeatwed.net/dashboard/subscriptions/ Your existing membership term and benefits will remain active until your subscription ends. This means that if you purchase a membership on January 1st, and then cancel it in June, all your membership benefits will remain active (and your listing will remain online) until December 31st.

Are memberships refundable?

Membership fees are non‑refundable. Dissatisfaction with outcomes, resources, or the consulting session does not trigger refunds. If a consulting session fails to occur due to a delivery issue on our end, it will be rescheduled.
