When I planned my own wedding nearly a decade ago, I learned pretty quickly how overwhelming expectations can get — even when you’re genuinely excited. I started with big plans and a long guest list, then realized what I actually wanted was something smaller, quieter, and more intentional. So I changed course and ended up with a tiny wedding in the mountains that felt completely right for us. That experience still shapes how I show up for my couples today.

I know how loud the outside voices can be, and how hard it can be to trust yourself when everyone has an opinion. Not everyone has someone in their corner encouraging them to break tradition, so I try to be that steady, supportive presence. My role isn’t to push trends or force a vision — it’s to help you feel grounded, confident, and free to make choices that actually reflect you.

I work best with couples planning elopements and micro-weddings, or anyone intentionally doing things a little differently. Smaller guest lists, flexible timelines, meaningful details, and space to actually be present — that’s where my work thrives. If something matters to you, we make room for it. If it doesn’t, we let it go.

I’m an alternative-styled, Pagan, nerdy human who genuinely loves collaborating with people who don’t feel at home in traditional wedding spaces. I’ll meet you where you are, offer guidance when it’s helpful, and give you plenty of room to trust your instincts.

I’m also proudly part of the LGBTQ+ community. I use gender-neutral contracts and inclusive language, and I’m committed to creating a space where you feel respected, supported, and fully yourself. I also work with and recommend LGBTQ+ and allied vendors whenever possible, so you can build a team that feels safe and aligned from start to finish.

I specialize in micro-weddings and elopements, and my favorite couples to work with are relaxed and looking forward to actually enjoying their day (this is so much easier to do with a smaller guest list, trust me). I’ve worked with so many different kinds of couples including LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, interfaith, and mixed culture couples.

I live in Franklin County, MO and I’m in St. Louis a lot for weddings. At this point, I’m surprised when my couples are getting married at a venue I haven’t worked at before! I do travel for an additional travel fee, depending on how far from home I’m going.

I’ve worked with disabled grandparents, a bride who just had to have major surgery, grooms with back problems, and everything in between. A big priority for me is making sure everyone is comfortable, because that shows through in the photos. I pride myself on making sure my couples feel like they can speak up if something I’m asking them to do feels uncomfortable, and I’m happy to make adjustments to our plan if needed.

After my couple inquires, I send a few galleries their way and then make sure to get them on the schedule for a video chat. It’s important to me that we get to know each other before moving forward. After the call, I send a custom proposal, where my couples sign their contract and pay a $1000 non-refundable retainer.

My couples typically book me between 9-18 months in advance of their celebration, but I’ve had couples book as close as 2-3 months in advance.

My collections are built for add-on services, so my couples have more ability to customize their package for their wants and needs. I used to have one-size-fits-all, all-inclusive packages, but I found that my couples wanted more control and options. Some couples loved the idea of a printed album while others would rather use that budget for rush editing or a film add-on. Pivoting meant better serving my couples, so I went for it!

DO WHAT YOU WANT. I seriously can’t say this loudly enough. I’ve worked all kinds of weddings, and the ones that are the least fun and meaningful for everyone involved are the ones where the couple felt pressured to make decisions for others instead of themselves. At the end of the day, your wedding should be a reflection of you and your spouse, NOT a reflection of guest expectations.

My couples typically mention how I helped them relax into their day and capture them authentically as a couple, which is exactly what I love to hear! That’s one of my biggest goals as a wedding photographer and I’m so happy I get to add to their experience in that way.
