Keely and Gunnar’s Hollywood luau tiki wedding killed it with style and awesome kitsch. They had already eloped in New Zealand, then returned to California for a tiki-tastic Polynesian-themed reception. The Hollywood sign was featured, of course,and Keely wore a vintage Hawaiian print wiggle dress, bamboo bangles, turquoise nails, a jade necklace, and a yellow orchid.
The Elysian Masonic Lodge in Los Feliz was where the party happened. Think tiki cups, pineapple centerpieces, tropical islands table names, and a roasted pig. If you’re in the mood for a mini brain holiday, you need to see this tiki wedding.

Hi Miranda, I am bit OCD and was curious what Pounamu is. I knew they eloped to New Zealand and so I found some sites that explained about the New Zealand greenstone called Pounamu. So I learned something new from your comment!!

I’m glad I could assist some learning! Yeah, New Zealand Greenstone is called Ponamu & it has a lot of cultural history attached. It often gets called Jade, which (if I recall correctly) is scientifically correct, but that is where the similarity to the more widespread Chinese jade ends. A Ponamu gift is a wonderful way to prompt conversation about their time here in NZ, not to mention it’s utterly stunning on this bride!
