Sentimental touches abound at this whimsical forest wedding in Northern Minnesota

Robekkah and Christian were initially Scrabble partners who found love AND gaming fun. They had a DIYed forest fairy wedding in Northern Minnesota full of family involvement, a gorgeous purple and white gown, and a very special officiant.

A quirky retro Moonrise Kingdom-inspired family centric wedding

The previous summer, while camping, we rewatched Moonrise Kingdom, which was one of the first movies we saw together when we reunited in 2012 (we'd briefly had a long-distance relationship in 1996, but went our separate ways and both ended up married to other people). Our very tight budget meant that we opted to go for a potluck over a catered event, and we chose a 'cake and cheese' theme.
