Maryska & Chris’ lanterns, lights, and top hats wedding

Fairy lights, lanterns instead of bouquets, and a shimmery platinum handmade gown to rival any on the red carpet — this wedding seriously glows. Plus, the pair’s geeky sides came out with some Tolkien and Firefly details to keep things fun. But fun wasn’t in short supply with the bride’s funny ceremony snafu and their first dance collision!

Ashley & Jake’s steampunk adventure trolley wedding

There are a few ways to avoid a bunch of time-consuming group portraits, but this one is one of our favorites. These two rented an open air brass-railed trolley for a perfectly suited steampunk backdrop for their photo shoot! Add that to the bride’s handmade reception gown, amazing steamy costumes, and a gamer-themed musical at the reception, and you’ll be totally transported. Oh, and wait until you see who ended up wearing a white wedding gown. Hint: it wasn’t the bride!

Cassie & Ryan’s starting line running wedding

These two met at a running race a year before their wedding, and celebrated by running that same race again on their wedding day (planned in only seven weeks!). And the best part is that it’s a running-themed wedding to match. Put on your running shoes and check out the start and finish line banner decor, funny aisle signs, and of course… the Rocky theme! But just wait until you see the prank the groom played on the bride involving mouth wash!

Carrie & Mason’s barefoot mountain wedding

This pair wanted a planned elopement in the mountains followed by a second ceremony and barn party the weekend after! It’s the best of both worlds. It may have been August in Kentucky (meaning HOT), but everyone pulled up a box fan and had a steamy, dreamy, barefooted good time.
