Offbeat Bride Sarah and her new husband Tim had a straight-up Kermit and Miss Piggy-themed wedding. Now we’ve seen Muppet weddings before, but this is the first time we’ve seen a very specific Muppet wedding.
Let’s check out what a Kermit and Piggy-themed wedding reception looks like…
My husband and I actually eloped in 2012, but we were really excited to get the chance to have a big reception for our one year anniversary. We really connect with Kermit & Piggy because I’m tall and fat and my husband is short and skinny. Plus, I’m the loud one, and I love glitter and pink.
Our colors were hot pink, bubblegum, lime, and green. I tried to have the decor be as mix-and-match and fun as possible.

I LOVE THIS. What a brilliant idea! As a fellow large gal, I love how the bride has embraced her big and fabulous side (I mean, how wonderful is Miss Piggy!), which as we know, is usually considered a wedding no-no by many people out there.

It IS a salt and pepper shaker. And the buffet centerpiece is really just a Kermit & Piggy cookie jar!

Awesome sauce. Me and FH are both Muppets fans, and homages to Miss Piggy and Kermit have snuck into our wedding as well. Definitely using this as an inspiration and LOVING the sparkly pink hair band!

Ha!!!….how fun. My husband and i joke around about being Kermit and Miss Piggy at least once a week.
Ya’ll are both so adorable. I have to ask if you gave him a “Hiiiiiiiii-ya” karate chop at any point?…that’s really the second best part of being Miss Piggy (the bestest-best part is definitely the eyelashes).
