Arielle and Bryan are both established actors who have major creative streaks and a love for Disney. Arielle actually crafted her own dress and made her flower arrangement and reception decor, including the amazing Disney-themed display that will blow your mind. Best part? They held the ceremony in the same church in which Arielle’s parents were married! So sweet.

The reception had a casual vibe with no announcements, coloring pages for children (Disney-themed, natch!), a song written and sung by Arielle’s brother(!), and tons of dancing. You’ll want to see the final lift at the end…

I’m compiling this list of wedding dates to avoid in 2018, 2019, and 2020 in case you want to avoid holidays where family and friends might have conflicting events, holidays where vendors might be especially busy and/or expensive (think Valentine’s Day for florists), or religious holidays where places might be closed or guests might have other plans.

Does this mean you CAN’T book your wedding for one of these days? Hell no!

Rachel and Rob love music festivals and wanted their wedding to reflect that passion with festival wristbands, a glitter and glow stick bar, a bonfire, fireworks, multiple music acts, lasers, and live art. They hosted it at all at Stone Tavern Farm in Roxbury, NY with the ceremony in the glowing field beneath a tree. Don’t miss the hot dog-costumed toast, a glitter and glow station, a live painting being created during the wedding, and a surprise fireworks display followed by an after party with live music performed by Space Bacon and an accompanying laser show. A modern Tuscan black tie wedding with plenty of DIY and style

The theme to our wedding was modern, Tuscan black tie. We had champagne taste on a beer and butter budget. We splurged on the picture perfect venue and catering, but everything else you see was DIY. I hand crafted everything from flowers to centerpieces and signs to decor. They say every wedding has at least one planning nightmare. Mine happened to be the biggest nightmare for me ever. The store I purchased my dress from went BANKRUPT and closed its doors just eight weeks before my wedding!
