This ultra stylish, 1950s-themed wedding inspiration got us right in the bookish feels. The bookstore backdrop is tickling our geeky hearts. I’m loving the aesthetic of myriad piles of books, shelves receding into the distance, and old wood from floor to ceiling. I wish we had scratch-n-sniff technology for the book smell! Plus, it’s totally a stealable idea for your own engagement shoot or wedding portraits.
This community-centered Catskills wedding stole our hearts
Ashley and Mi’s amazing Catskills wedding was a handcrafted labor of love among their friends and community. Together they made hand-stamped welcome bags and poetry journals, Ashley’s handmade earrings, paper cranes and ribbons hung from trees, collected bottles as centerpieces, and a group reading during the ceremony.
After the ceremony, it was dinner and a sparkler parade led by fiddle players to a contra band and square dance caller. We can only the imagine the fun after that. Let’s see it all…

A vegan humanist UK rock and roll wedding (with Elvis and Riot Squad!)
Jess and Stokie Pete had that awesome combination of sublime forest backdrop and raucous rock and roll wedding. They performed Pagan rituals, a handfasting, and broom jumping at the gorgeous Mapperley Farm in Derbyshire followed by a vegan meal and a ton of dancing. That is, until Elvis Presley and Riot Squad arrived to rock everyone out.
