Once upon a midnight dreary, we stumbled upon this fabulous Poe wedding. Tamara and Sam’s theme is seriously one of our favorites: “rock ‘n’ Poe” — all things Edgar Allen Poe meets rock ‘n’ roll. They DIYed a lot of the goth details, and dinner was a breakfast bar. Between the fabulous black gown (which was actually billed as a “mother of the bride dress” — wut), the killer groom outfit and epic beard, and the black and white lace cake, we love this wedding with a love that’s more than a love. Okay, no more Poe quotes, I promise.

Awesome wedding!!!! I am predicting this couple will visit Westminster Hall on Halloween one year for their anniversary! I went a few years ago and had a great time! Not only is Westminster Hall beautiful, there are free tours of the catacombs, Poe readings, and story tellers all night! Halloween is the only time that it is open to the public (you can hold events like weddings there, or attend Peabody concerts). Also, if you didn’t know- Westminster Hall is the final resting place of Edgar Allan Poe! Love every detail of the wedding that was shared. 🙂
Thank you all! Sam amd I had a blast! This is what happens when 2 Officiants get married hahaha The best part it was mostly a “surprise” for us. Having worked with the fabulous weddig pro’s many times we took the easy, stress-free way and gave them all free reign saying “We’ll see it when we walk down the aisle”. I even told Sam since I don’t dress him any other damn day of the year, I wasn’t going to tell him what to wear this day either. I saw his outfit when I got to the altar….and yes, I was VERY impressed! We had a great time and we’re so happy we did it our way.

That wedding dress is gorgeous. And the lace on that cake is amazing.
