Look, wedding programs are totally not required. But if you’re looking for a way to showcase your ceremony, wedding party, family members, or cultural/geeky/family traditions in an understandable way, programs are rad. Plus, they’re a super frame-able memento for your happy-sappy heart. This is especially so when they look as shimmery, dreamy, and chic as these stylish wedding programs do.
Some have foil, some are watercolor-y, and some are just plain gorgeous. Plus, y’all know there are FULL suites of invites, save-the-dates, menus, placecards, and wedding websites to match these bad boys.

These are lovely, but there is nothing “offbeat” about them. I’ve seen more alternative programs on The Knot. I appreciate Offbeat Bride’s need to diversify their viewer base, but I come here to see things I wouldn’t see on other sites. I’m offbeat myself, and if all of your articles looked like this, I wouldn’t visit anymore.
I appreciate your feedback, Claire! You’re right, these are definitely not super subversive. We try to keep a good mix of content to appeal to all of our audience, many of whom are offbeat in a lot of ways and some only a little. Picking something that isn’t ultra alternative is totally okay in our book since there’s enough judgment out in the wide wedding world. The last thing we want is for anyone to feel that being offbeat is a contest and that you have to be really really offbeat to be a part of the community.
In the meantime, I’ll see to it that we hit up the more alternative segments of paperie soon. Thanks!
