Increasing visibility for BIPOC folks has been a priority for us since 2008, and note that we always allow folks to self-identify. More about how and why we do this here.

A French-Mexican fusion wedding in Mexico City

Imagine getting to attend a French-Mexican fusion wedding outside of Mexico City with local and French foods, amazing dancing (salsa included), and tons of DIY details. Julie Hagenbuch got to do just that when she photographed Marie and Mario’s gorgeous ceremony and party under the stars.

Danni & Zach’s intimate backyard burlap-covered wedding

This week we’re celebrating intimate weddings with destination elopements, cozy city hall vows, and private romantic ceremonies. Today we have a backyard wedding of two neighbors-turned-lovers. There were Shrinky Dinks, Cajun and Filipino food, a garaged covered in burlap, and tons of crafty details.

Natalie & Iliana’s laid-back bounce house wedding

With s’mores, hula hoops, a bounce house (carefully hidden from kiddie’s eyes until after the ceremony), and a photo booth, there was something for all the kids and the young and heart to enjoy. They also had access to authentic homemade Latin food (made by one of the brides’ families!) and an amazing venue, all somehow on a low budget!

Annie and Ben had spent time as a long-distance relationship before settling together in San Francisco. After that, they decided to get married at the gorgeous Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento. Annie is a designer and pulled in all of her skills to create the top of her dress, her veil, and most of the decor.
