You can get married at Stonehenge?! You totally can, and they did
This Star Wars-loving pair had a Stonehenge wedding(!!) that was amazing plus a huge, costumed reception back at home to celebrate their geeky and lovely wedding. You’ll totally want to see the bride’s black dress, her flower crown, the Star Wars meets Stonehenge cake, and of course, all of the awesomely geeky Star Wars details. There was even a Darth Vader cameo!
A real time ring tattoo at this goth Utah wedding on Friday the 13th
Let’s set the scene: a glam black dress, a dapper long-locked groom, a Friday the 13th wedding, all in Utah. The bride, Stephanie, is a tattoo artist and even inked the wedding band on her groom Larry’s finger right after the ceremony. It was a hugely DIYed affair in a stunning venue filled with paper roses (made from pages of anatomy books and sheet music!) and hints of darkness among tons of light. Let’s gaze at this chic meets goth Utah wedding.
Try to survive this haunted castle wedding without dying of love
Reema loves skulls and Derek is a hard core Chiver (Bill Murray fan). They decided to take their show on the road to a haunted castle in Ireland. Reema custom-designed her skull wedding ring and coffin ring box, created her own earrings and necklace, and even her wedding dress was custom designed to match her goth tendencies. The music reflected their rock and metal tastes with some “Stairway To Heaven” and a choir version of “Nothing Else Matters.” Add in some Dr. Seuss, a handfasting, and a rose ceremony, and you’ve topped off this skulls meets Bill Murray haunted castle wedding.
Once upon a midnight dreary, we fell for this Poe wedding
Tamara and Sam’s theme is seriously one of our favorites: “rock ‘n’ Poe” — all things Edgar Allen Poe meets rock ‘n’ roll. They DIYed a lot of the goth details, and dinner was a breakfast bar. Between the fabulous black gown (which was actually billed as a “mother of the bride dress” — wut), the killer groom outfit and epic beard, and the black and white lace cake, we love this wedding with a love that’s more than a love. Okay, no more Poe quotes, I promise.
