We are so excited to be part of the Offbeat Weddings community! Our shop has always been a place for rebels. After all, our clientele are soonlyweds that are willing to flip the script on a costly, single-use garment purchase that is unfortunately sometimes considered to be one of the most wasteful.

BUT just because we may feel uncomfortable with the purchase doesn’t mean that we need to throw the ritual out entirely! After all, Hand-Me-Gowns believes that the most sustainable garment is one that already exists, and there truly its something so special about selecting this gown surrounded by the people that love and support you.

Because all of our appointments are entirely private, it also allows us to make your appointment SPECIFICALLY tailored to you! Bring whoever you would like to bring, listen to whatever music you’d like to listen to, this is about you. We are a woman-owned business with majority LGBTQ-identifying staff, and want the space to feel inclusive and welcoming to everyone.

Speaking of, we are plus-size friendly! We make it a priority to source and consign gowns up to bridal size 30 and down to a street size 00. No matter your size, we will have gowns that fit you, guaranteed. No need to feel embarrassed while swimming in a sample size gown that’s four sizes too big, OR have to walk out of the dressing room with a bare back clipped into a gown that’s waaaay too small.
