About Jenny GG Photography

Hi. I’m Jenny.

My approach to photography is open, light, and rarely posed, resulting in images that are genuine. My biggest emphasis is on capturing the fun and emotion of your wedding day. The joy and excitement of a wedding is visceral and my biggest hope is that you relive those feelings when you look at your photos.

2026 marks my 18th year of photographing weddings (and 16 years on Offbeat Wed!)… Queer, straight, poly, trans, lego, religious, pagan, magic the gathering, cats, star wars, dogs, harry potter, burlesque, D&D, PI day, and the list goes on. I’ve seen a lot, but there is so much more to see.

But for real. I don’t suck. Let’s go take some killer photos.

Frequently Asked Questions

Your photos are not about me or my “art.” Your life is art and I think my job is to show your awesomeness. You’ve been working hard to create a wedding day that expresses your individuality and who you are as a couple. You want something out of the ordinary, something unforgettable — I get it and totally dig that “offbeat” person. I want to take the photographs that will tell the story that you will treasure forever.

I’m here for anyone who has felt “othered” at a wedding. As someone who came out and came of age in the 80s, it was hard to see myself represented at weddings. In fact, I’d only been to two weddings before I photographed a friend’s in 2008—and both times, I was an uncomfortable bridesmaid in a sleeveless dress. Being behind the camera allowed me to see the joy of a wedding. I was inspired by how a nice lens flare, my “hype-lady” enthusiasm, and a happy, fun-loving couple could work with the camera to make magic.

Whether your day includes baby penguins, stormtroopers, a New Orleans jazz band, hula dancers, a drag queen officiant, or a mariachi band, I’ll capture it all while helping you feel relaxed, present, and delighted. So many of my clients have felt “othered” by the wedding industry. So if that’s you—or you just want to make sure no one else feels left out at your celebration—I’ll be there to help everyone feel seen and appreciated for exactly who they are. It’s important that everyone in my photographs feels included, no matter what.

Love from Offbeat Couples

I honestly don’t know where to start with a review, Jenny was so absolutely spectacular that there aren’t enough stars. From our first meeting at the wedding show until she said goodbye on our wedding day she was fantastic. Throughout the entire process we felt both heard and seen, and Jenny gave us suggestions and guidance that helped make sure that what we envisioned is exactly what we got. My only regret is that I don’t have more occasions that require a photographer.
