Hi, I’m Helena – wedding celebrant, vow-whisperer, and Chief Memory Maker at The Celebrant Cafe.
I take care of the not-so-romantic stuff so you don’t have to: I’ll guide you through all the legal bits and handle every piece of paperwork before and after your ceremony.
The fun part? That’s all you. Want to include your dogs, a handfasting, a motorbike entrance, or vows you wrote on a napkin? I’m in. There are surprisingly few rules about what you can include and where you can get married – so bring your wildest, most wonderful dream to the table and we’ll turn it into a ceremony that actually feels like YOU.

100kms from Redcliffe Qld Australia 4020 without blinking. Outside this range will incur travel fees, I have a 2 man off road caravan that I absolutely adore, so yes always keen to travel
Happy to look at all options in the area to choose to marry, we can explore ways to get people in and out in a fun way keeping it sensible and safe.
If you give me a date, I will hold it for 10days. I would expect a $200 AUS retainer on booking, that secures me for your day. Full payment to be made 14 days before your big day.
Anything from a couple of months, I love a quicky. I tend to accept up to 1 year in advance, anything longer than that, even I don’t know what’s going to be happening in my life. I could get travel opportunities, family crisis, goals to kick.

A huge 70’s disco same sex wedding on the beach, every single attendee wore fancy dress, it was so funny for the guests to guess who others were beneath the wigs and outfits.
Loving the adventure people have during the run up, seeing golf carts decked out as old fashioned wedding cars to transport the grannies.
Having Mother of the Groom deliver a very emotional self written poem that even I cried at.
Stop spending too much money on small stuff, eg napkins, traditional favors, worrying what your Aunty will think.
My dream couple arrive full of giggles and ideas on how they would like to be married and wondering if it’s okay, then me reassuring them that this is an awesome plan.
