With the help of their friends and family, Rhiannon and Joe completely transformed their own backyard into a magical space for their Whidbey Island cosmos wedding. The pair runs a print shop together and created signs galore to place all over their backyard in Washington. Each one spoke to their love and the cosmic forces they feel brought them together.
Rhiannon surprised Joe by creating a special cape to add to her dress that honored his love of the cosmos and winged creatures. All the flower and succulent arrangements included crystals and copper for their mystical properties.
During the ceremony, Joe pledged to Rhiannon’s two daughters that, while he would never replace their father, he would love them like a father. The two girls publicly welcomed him into the family, and sang a song to celebrate the heartfelt moment. Talk about tears, you guys. Wipe them away so you can still see how beautiful this day turned out to be…
