We had guests from as far apart as Japan, California, and Germany. We tried to invoke all the things we loved in our wedding day — geeky nods to Harry Potter, His Dark Materials, Jonathan Coulton, and the Lord of the Rings; the Obergefell v Hodges ruling for Jess's career and theatrical touches for mine. We asked our guests to wear 'whatever makes you feel pretty.' We then celebrated with ice cream, lawn games, and street food, and ended the evening with a ceilidh and session. Oh, and there was an owl, and llamas.

Sami and Philippa live in Sweden but wanted to get married in their favourite UK city of Manchester. They got ready in the same Lockhouse,a small cottage located next to the canal.

It was intimate, full of colorful flowers, two complementary white gowns, pale green details, and two brides clearly in love.

Ronald and Mary Jane’s wedding day merged two cultures and families. The day began with a traditional Chinese tea ceremony, where many laughs, smiles, and tears were shed as gifts and traditions were exchanged. Don’t miss the gorgeous tea setup, personalized cookies in Chinese, and the tea ceremony dresses! The second half of the day consisted of a traditional wedding ceremony incorporating Mary Jane’s Latinx heritage. Bold and bright colors were used throughout the historic venue of ZaZa Gardens
